Fitodenta – professional oral care

The idea behind Fitodenta was born in 2019, when our team of biochemists and pharmacists joined forces with dental professionals. According to them, major pharmaceutical innovations had tended to bypass dentistry, as it represents a relatively narrow medical niche. This inspired us to develop innovative oral and dental care products that address the growing needs of dental clinics and complement traditionally conservative treatment protocols.

Fitodenta, UAB was established in early 2020 as a spin-off company of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) in Kaunas. The product formulations were developed in collaboration with researchers from the LSMU Faculty of Pharmacy, tested and subsequently manufactured at the LSMU compounding pharmacy. Fitodenta has signed a licensing agreement with its scientific partner, LSMU, under which the rights to the product formulations have been transferred to the company. The products developed and manufactured by Fitodenta are innovative – some have no direct equivalents on the market and are being patented.

Fitodenta’s vision is to become an innovation leader in post-procedural oral and dental care by developing safe, reliable and effective solutions for dental professionals and their patients that enhance patient comfort, satisfaction and loyalty.
