On 24–25 September, Fitodenta is taking part in the international medical exhibition MEDBALTICA 2026 in Riga, presenting its solutions for infection control and post-procedure oral care to dental professionals. MEDBALTICA is one of the leading medical exhibitions in the Baltic states, bringing together healthcare professionals, professional associations and medical product manufacturers from Latvia and other countries.

Among the key innovations Fitodenta is introducing to the Latvian market are hydrogels for professional use in infection control during dental procedures. The Fitodenta Perio Care hydrogel, which contains metronidazole and hyaluronic acid and is designed for local infection control and tissue regeneration at the procedure site, is attracting particular interest from professionals.

Infection control remains a significant challenge in periodontology, implantology and oral surgery. Exhibition visitors are therefore especially drawn to the option of applying active ingredients locally, directly to the treatment or surgical site, where the hydrogel formulation helps keep the product in place.

Conversations with Latvian dentists on the first day of the exhibition show strong interest in these solutions. Professionals are asking not only about the hydrogel’s composition and mechanism of action, but also about its practical use during implant placement, periodontal treatment, tooth extraction and other surgical procedures. At the stand, the Fitodenta team demonstrates product application and discusses how the products can be integrated into routine clinical protocols.

At MEDBALTICA, Fitodenta is also presenting its broader “from clinic to home” care concept: professional products are used in the clinic, while specially developed oral care products allow patients to continue post-procedure care at home. The aim is to bring infection control, support for tissue regeneration and ongoing patient care together in one system.
